Conduct comprehensive building condition surveys, leak investigations, and roof moisture assessments.
Perform field testing of exterior enclosure systems (e.g., water penetration testing, thermal imaging).
Design and draft remedial solutions for roofing, waterproofing, facades, balconies, and plaza decks.
Prepare bidding documents and assist clients through the contractor selection process.
Provide quality assurance and construction administration services during the repair phase.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in building envelope consulting, waterproofing design, or forensic architecture/engineering.
Deep understanding of building science, construction materials, and moisture management systems.
Ability to safely perform site inspections, which may include utilizing scaffolding, swing stages, or ladders.
Industry certifications such as Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), or similar IIBEC credentials.
Experience providing litigation support or acting as an expert witness.
Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000.
Performance-based annual bonus.
