Ms. Castro joined Construction Systems Group, Inc. in September 2000. In her role as an Engineering/CAD Technician, she produces highly precise technical drawings, detailed bid tabulations, and comprehensive construction documents that support CSG’s complex structural and building envelope rehabilitation projects. She collaborates closely with our Senior Leadership and other technical staff to translate design concepts into clear, accurate, and constructible plans, ensuring that projects remain on schedule, meet strict quality standards, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Her responsibilities include reviewing architectural and engineering plans, preparing detailed CAD models, performing quantity take-offs, and assisting in cost estimation. She contributes to the development and finalization of Project Manuals, construction submittals, and Change Orders, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and coordinated.

Ms. Castro also provides on-site support during critical phases of projects, including water testing, field measurements, and material sampling/testing during condition assessments. She assists with troubleshooting technical issues, offering practical solutions to maintain project continuity and integrity.

Additionally, she supports quality assurance efforts by verifying drawings and documentation against as-built conditions, reviewing specifications for compliance, and maintaining organized project records. Her mentorship of junior technicians and guidance on CAD standards help foster a consistent and professional workflow within the office.
