Mr. Sweeney joined Construction Systems Group, Inc. in December 2025. At CSG, he has participated in the inspection and management of facade rehabilitation and roof replacement projects and conducted quality assurance site visits for both new construction and existing rehabilitation projects. Prior to joining CSG, Mr. Sweeney gained experience in civil and structural engineering through internships and early-career roles at the following firms:

Graduate Engineer, Dewberry Engineers, Inc.
Mr. Sweeney prepared and designed CAD files using Bentley Open Roads Designer and performed backchecks for accuracy and compliance with PennDOT standards. He also provided technical expertise and quality control, assisted in establishing design criteria, solved complex engineering calculations, performed quantity takeoffs, and developed detailed cost estimates.

Project Intern, Gale Associates, Inc.
Mr. Sweeney oversaw a built-up roof system replacement and masonry tuckpointing project to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. He also observed project managers on new and existing building enclosure projects, contributed to the revision and accuracy of project specification documents, and measured and documented site details for project drawings.

As a Project Engineer at CSG, Mr. Sweeney provides support for building envelope and structural projects under the guidance of senior engineers. He assists with field inspections, quality assurance site visits, and documentation for both new construction and rehabilitation projects. He contributes to technical problem-solving, project coordination, and compliance verification, helping ensure construction work meets contract documents and industry standards. This role allows him to gain hands-on experience while progressing toward licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).
